Conference UmBauKultur, Gelsenkirchen (24 January 2014)

Re-using cities and buildings is rapidly becoming the main field of work for architects in Europe, particularly in regions undergoing profound transformations, such as North Rhine – Westphalia. The Initiative StadtBauKulture NRW organised a one day conference on this subject. Christoph Grafe chaired one of the afternoon workshops discussing the cultural and aesthetic aspects of re-use and re-building.
